All shipping uses Live Rates from major couriers and Canada Post. You get to pick the service level and carrier for your order.
Shipping Discounts:
A discount is applied to your selected live rates and that discount increases with higher value in the checkout. The more you buy – the more you save, even up to FREE Shipping! Creating our discount structure this way allows us to offer competitive pricing across all of our products without having to inflate costs with freight recovery like other retailers do. It also gives YOU the flexibility to choose whichever shipping option is the most convenient for you.
We have multiple strategically placed warehouses throughout North America. Because of this, we are usually able to offer quick shipping options anywhere in Canada and also offer shipping to USA and International destinations. Each warehouse has it’s own shipping charges attached to it, and shipping discounts apply to each warehouse individually, so for orders that consist of multiple brands of items we recommend you select our consolidated shipping option as it will usually provide a cheaper, single charge for everything in your order! Consolidated orders only ship from the Victoria, BC warehouse so keep in mind that transfer times are in addition to the courier transit times.

Choose your shipping method:
In step (2) of the checkout you will see the shipping method options. The shipping methods offered in this section are dynamic and are based on variables such as the “brand” of product(s) you have in the checkout along with quantities of items and order values. Since some of our shipping locations have minimum requirements for shipping, they may not be available to you until you meet that specific quantity or order value minimum. Consolidated from BC Warehouse is always available as this location is able to ship without the same restrictions.
Shipping to the United States
Most orders shipped from Canada to the United States are sent under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms. This means your order total is intended to include the cost of products, shipping, and any applicable import duties, tariffs, or taxes charged by U.S. Customs. In most cases, no additional charges will be due upon delivery.
Due to the evolving nature of international trade policies, tariffs, and customs regulations, Skookum Tools Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where import duties, tariffs, shipping costs, or other cross-border charges become excessive, impractical, or materially different from those quoted or anticipated at the time of purchase. In such cases, the customer will be notified and any payment received will be fully refunded.
Order Cancellations
We understand plans can change. You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. To request a cancellation, please contact our customer service team at 1-888-665-6936. After 24 hours, your order will begin processing and can no longer be canceled.
Returns, Refunds and Damaged Products
Our primary goal is to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. We understand that problems can occasionally occur, and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Standard Returns
Standard, non-custom products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return, the product must:
- Be unused, unaltered and in new, resalable condition.
- Include its original packaging, manuals and accessories where applicable.
- Have a return authorization from Online Supply before it is shipped.
To request authorization, please complete our Product Return form. We will review your request and provide the correct Canadian return location.
Return Shipping Costs
If the return is due to an ordering error, change of mind or incorrectly selected product, the customer is responsible for prepaid return shipping.
Please do not send a product back before receiving return instructions. Returns sent to an incorrect location may be delayed or refused.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
Email us with your order information, a description of the issue and, whenever possible, photographs showing the problem. We will review the situation and arrange an appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
When Online Supply confirms that a product is damaged, defective or was supplied incorrectly, the customer will not be responsible for the approved return shipping cost.
Custom and Made-to-Order Products
Custom-made and made-to-order products cannot be returned unless they are defective or were manufactured incorrectly.
Non-returnable custom products include, but are not limited to:
- Custom-welded bandsaw blades.
- Made-to-order sanding belts.
- Custom tooling and specially manufactured products.
Please carefully confirm all measurements, specifications and product selections before ordering a custom or made-to-order product.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. When an approved return is received and refunded, you may place a new order for the correct product.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are normally processed within 7 business days after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, additional processing time may be required before the credit appears on your account.
Original shipping charges are not normally refundable unless the return results from a damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied product.
Refused and Abandoned International Shipments
If an international order is refused because tariffs, duties, taxes or other import charges were not paid, the shipment may be returned at the customer’s expense or considered abandoned.
Any return freight, brokerage, duties or other costs incurred may be deducted from an eligible refund. No refund will be issued for an abandoned package.

Fibre Discs CS 570 – fibre discs that deliver a high removal rate on stainless steel, steel, NF metal and aluminium
Grinding work on metal presents a particularly daunting challenge to any abrasive. Metals prove to be difficult materials as they are tough, yet exceptionally hard at the same time. The most formidable of these metals are stainless steel and high-alloy steels, so-called super alloys. The fibre discs CS 570 tackle these challenges with an extra hard and ultra tough abrasive grain made of zirconia alumina that is bonded to a vulcanised fibre backing plate with a strong synthetic resin. The fibre disc CS 570 possesses characteristics that make it a particularly good choice for processing stainless steel and aluminium:
- Cool grinding thanks to multibond
- Close coating
- Grain made of zirconia alumina
The self-sharpening effect provided by the zirconia alumina grain
The zirconia alumina used for the fibre discs CS 570 by Klingspor is a synthetically made grain with a crystalline structure that is exceptionally hard and tough. The sharp edges of natural abrasives made of quartz, emery or garnet wear out over time, resulting in reduced abrasive performance. Synthetically made zirconia alumina acts differently. Wear causes individual portions to break out of the crystalline structure, leaving behind new, sharp edges. This will result in a uniform scratch pattern at a continuous removal rate and a long service life.
Prevention of overheating
Fibre discs are perfect for use in high temperatures. The cool grinding ensured by the green multibond prevents premature overheating and discolouration of the metal on the workpiece, allowing for smooth operation even at a high contact pressure and high speeds. For safety reasons, the maximum operating speed of a fibre disc when fitted to a backing pad must not exceed 80 metres per second. The following permissible values are designed to keep the speed within this limit:
- For discs with a diameter of 115 mm: 13,300 revolutions per minute
- For discs with a diameter of 125 mm: 12,200 revolutions per minute
- For discs with a diameter of 180 mm: 8,500 revolutions per minute
For use with the fibre discs CS 570
Available for the fibre discs CS 570 are matching backing pads, ST 358 A ribbed hard and ST 358 smooth medium. The backing pad must be selected according to the intended application. The medium backing pad is suited for applications requiring a uniform finish as it conforms perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. Its properties make this backing pad ideal for finer grinding work, surface grinding or grinding contours. The hard backing pad is used for rough grinding at high removal rates. It performs especially well when used for deburring and aggressive grinding.
