This sanding belt is of exceptionally high quality and sports a cloth backing made of Y-polyester that offers excellent tear resistance, ensuring a long service life. The abrasive material used for this product is closely coated aluminium oxide with a fully synthetic bond. Aluminium oxide is distinguished by a combination of hardness and toughness that delivers excellent abrasive performance. When used for processing metal, its close coating is responsible for a high removal rate and a consistently high surface quality. The close coating of the abrasive material also ensures that the sanding process is completed with a maximum number of grain points. Resistant to water thanks to its tear-resistant polyester, this abrasive belt is ideally suited for both wet and dry grinding.
