“Just wondering if its normal to use 10 blades after cutting about 12 sheets of 3/8 in plywood cut into small pieces for flower making. The first 6 blades lasted from mid Feb to April but the next shipment of 6 blades had defects in two blades and 4 blades have broken with just a week and half. The service is excellent and the shipping time is very good but the quality of the blades are not so good.”
“Good company.I ordered 80 grit belts for stroke sander.Best belts I ever used.Little clogging and fast cutting.Great finish.”
“Ordered 20 of the 6x48" 400 grit belts. They got them out to me quickly. They track perfectly and lasted well. I'm very happy with them.”
“I have been using this Sears bandsaw for decades. Used to get blades from Sears off-shelf in Canada but Sears has closed its Canada operation. Blades would break after years of my occasional hobby use for cutting small pieces of 2-3mm thick plastics. When it breaks, I cannot tell if it breaks at weld point as it is silver colour and very smooth. I ordered some 3/16” and 1/4” width blades from Skookum (total 9 blades). One blade (3/16” 14 tpi) was broken on arrival at weld point. Customer Service was fantastic, replaced it very fast as I learnt that it is very difficult to weld smaller blades properly (needs attention). Unfortunately, the replacement also broke at weld point after less than 5 minutes use. Now I switched to using a 1/4” 10 tpi blade … it is still good (though I have only used it for a total of about 20 minutes. Maybe annealing and buttwelding the 3/16” blade is more of a problem … In the future I will definitely order the ¼” blades ONLY.”
