Meat-cutting blade options

Our meat blades are designed for meat-cutting bandsaws, with options for meat, bone-in cuts and fish. The options below are 5/8″ wide and are cut and welded to your specified length.

3 TPI

Width: 5/8″

Thickness: .022″
Blade code: 28-1653

Thickness: .025″
Blade code: 28-1643

Suggested use: Larger cuts, frozen product and general bone-in meat processing.

Why choose it: Coarser tooth spacing leaves more room to clear material during the cut, making it a useful starting point when cutting speed is the priority.

4 TPI

Width: 5/8″

Thickness: .022″
Blade code: 28-1654

Thickness: .025″
Blade code: 28-1644

Suggested use: Fresh or chilled meat, smaller portions and everyday bone-in cutting.

Why choose it: The finer tooth spacing generally produces a smoother finish than 3 TPI, making it a useful starting point when cut appearance matters.

4 TPI · No-Set

Width: 5/8″

Thickness: .022″
Blade code: 28-1654NS

Suggested use: Portion cutting where reducing product waste is a priority.

Why choose it: Teeth stay in line with the blade, which can make the kerf (cut width) narrower than a comparable set-tooth blade. This helps reduce the material removed with each cut. Feel free to contact us if you’re unsure whether it suits your setup.

TPI = teeth per inch. Confirm the width and thickness your saw supports. See the Bandsaw Builder for current options and availability.

Choosing your blade: Product temperature, bone content, cut size and saw speed all affect blade selection. Follow your machine’s recommended blade thickness when choosing between .022″ and .025″.

Expand a letter to find your brand and model. All lengths are in inches. This is a reference list: confirm the blade length, width and thickness with your saw’s manual or a correctly fitting blade before ordering.

† = historical/unconfirmed. “Model not specified” means the reference does not identify a specific saw model. The list gives blade lengths only; it does not confirm that every machine accepts the 5/8″ width or thicknesses listed above.

Your saw isn’t listed? We can still make your custom length. Check your manual, measure a correctly fitting blade, or contact us for help.

A little measuring goes a long way

Not Sure of Your Blade Length?

A missing manual or an older meat saw doesn’t have to hold up your order. Watch our quick measuring guide and check the size of a correctly fitting blade.

  • Measure the complete loop. Blade length is the total distance around the blade.
  • Check width and thickness. Matching the length is only part of finding the right fit.
  • Consider what you’re cutting. Fresh or frozen product, bone content and cut size all play a part in blade selection.
