One major benefit of this abrasive block certainly lies in its suitability for universal use. It always offers the abrasive that is right for the job - regardless of the material. The silicon carbide grains bonded in plastic produce a substantially finer surface structure compared to abrasives that rely on a different type of bonding. This is why this abrasive block is preferred by many for cleaning and finishing. Examples of in the home include the cleaning of the underside of irons or cleaning stainless steel sinks.
